Project Details

Vincent Van Gogh, a Dutch painter renowned for his expressive and emotive artworks, left an indelible mark on the world of art with his vibrant and passionate creations. In 1886, during his stay in Paris, Van Gogh produced numerous self-portraits, each reflecting his evolving artistic vision and emotional state. This project sought to encapsulate Van Gogh's spirit and artistic legacy by vectorizing one of his self-portraits and integrating it into a movie poster for "Loving Vincent," a film that celebrates his life and works.

The input for this project included research on Vincent Van Gogh's life and art, focusing on his self-portraits created during his time in Paris. Insights into Van Gogh's technique, brushwork, and color palette informed the process of vectorizing the portrait and designing the poster.
